London, June 21 (Ians) Legendary British rock star Rod Stewart, 78, said that he still does “Sas-style” intense workouts every day.
Stewart, who is married to model Penny Lancaster, 52, says that he’s even been swimming with weighted bricks ahead of his UK tour in November and December.
Stewart told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “It was ‘Sas’ style. Nothing stops me from doing that. It was in a 20-metre indoor pool, where we do some Sas training by swimming with weighted bricks under water, and all sorts of joviality.”
“Sometimes when you exercise you think, ‘f*** I can’t be bothered to exercise this morning.’ But then you push yourself, it’s just so uplifting for your mind and body. If I go 10 days without working out, I go in the dumps.”

… I don't want to talk about it. … I have to talk about it because that's what my job is, but I am bereft and downtrodden because a certain someone was taken from us all too soon. Farewell, Jubilee.I can't do this. This is too much. I'm no longer convinced that Ben is the male equivalent of a bowl of Starbucks oatmeal, but now I know his true nature. He's cruel and unforgiving. He's the male equivalent of McDonald's oatmeal. I don't care if that's unkind. McDonald's oatmeal was unkind. Even my boyfriend, who I've tricked into watching The Bachelor by telling him eventually it turns into a Royal Rumble moderated by Stephanie McMahon, wants to stop watching, because our dear, sweet, complicated Jubilee is gone. Let's try to get through this together, America. We must forge on. At the very least, to honor Jubilee and all our nation's...

Taylor Swift may have recently landed her first-ever GQ cover, but that's not the only magazine she appears on this month. The singer also graces the cover of NME's October issue, where she talks about her mini feud with Nicki Minaj, plus how things are going with Kanye West. As a refresher, Taylor tweeted at Nicki back in July after the rapper complained about the lack of black vocalists nominated for MTV VMAs. In the weeks that followed, Taylor tweeted an apology, Nicki said they were "all good" during her interview on Good Morning America, and the pair shared the stage at the VMAs. In the wake of it all, though, Taylor has learned a valuable lesson. See her quotes below. On her mini feud with Nicki: "I don't want to talk about it . . . But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone's management,...

Remember that time Taylor Swift accidentally started a beef with Nicki Minaj on Twitter when she mistook Nicki's comments on racism in music as a jab at her own awards-show domination, and jumped into Nicki's mentions? (They later reconciled on the VMAs stage.) Well, Taylor has vowed to never let her pop-star quarrels play out on social media front pages ever again. Instead, she'll do it the ol' fashioned way: texting! She tells NME: "I don't want to talk about it. But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone's management, I get their number and I text them. It's an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015." "Anyone" meaning Meek Mill, obviously.

You can count Taylor Swift out of any future celebrity feuds! The "Wildest Dreams" singer is opening up about her infamous Vma feud with Nicki Minaj in the new issue of NME magazine -- and it seems like she's learned a lot from the spat! "I don't want to talk about it," the country-turned-pop star admitted. "But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone's management, I get their number and I text them." Back in August, the "Anaconda" rapper took to Twitter to voice her frustration after not being nominated for Video Of The Year for her hit track, adding that MTV "celebrates women with very slim bodies". The 25-year-old, who was nominated in the category for "Blank Space" took offense to Nicki's tweet and responded by accusing Nicki of pitting women against each other. The pair did manage to bury the hatchet,...

From now on, if Taylor Swift has "Bad Blood," she plans to handle it privately. After the mix-up between her and Nicki Minaj on Twitter in August, the seven-time Grammy winner told British magazine NME that she's learned her lesson. There's no question that Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj have moved on from their MTV Video Music Awards drama. From public apologies to surprise collaborations, the duo appears to have no ill will towards one another. Unfortunately, the musicians still can't seem to escape questions about the so-called feud. Case in point: Swift's latest interview with NME magazine. "I don't want to talk about it," Swift shared with the U.K. publication available Friday. "But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone's management, I get their number and I text them." She added, "It's an important lesson for anyone to learn in...

Marcel, one of Hollywood's hottest scriptwriters, is keen to talk about her debut film, Oscar-tipped Saving Mr Banks. But what can she reveal about her next blockbuster, Fifty Shades of Grey?
For a woman who spends her days in a shed, the Kelly Marcel story has a lot to pack in. Right now the name will ring few bells, but any account of her professional life must find room for Steven Spielberg, Holby City, Walt Disney and the tattoos of actor Tom Hardy. It would be nice to have a screenwriter on hand to knock it into shape – one like Marcel herself, among the most sought-after writers in Hollywood, working from the bottom of her south-west London garden.
Perhaps we should cut straight to the mention of what will surely be a landmark in her career, her script for the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. Abruptly, the mood...

In those days we didn't have in-ear monitors and the band kept getting louder and drunker, and I kept blowing my voice out. The steroids will take down the swelling in any membrane - including your knob -...

Brad Paisley and LL Cool J sparked quite the controversy when they released a song together titled "Accidental Racist" on Tuesday. The track outraged many, including MSNBC host Touré.
On Wednesday's "The Cycle," Touré made his hatred for the song known. "I'm not giving out any good grades for the effort. It's a horrible song. And moving aside from the aesthetics ... the message is extraordinarily problematic," he said. Touré criticized Paisley for his desire to wear a Confederate flag. "You can't just re-appropriate the symbol as you wish," Touré said.
The MSNBC host seemed even more outraged with LL Cool J, saying that he was "extraordinarily disappointed" in the rapper. He took particular issue with LL Cool J's line in the song, "If you forget the gold chains, I'll forget the iron chains." Touré's voice continued to raise as he said, "If you don't judge me because I'm wearing a chain,...

Previously on Chicago Fire, Benny Severide arrived straight from his trip to New York where he shot a Senator, framed Peter Burke, and disappointed his son Neal. Wrong show? Right. Ok, he popped in from his beautiful hobo camp to grill Shay about her sexual orientation, and stir up trouble at the fire fighter prom. Dawson and Mills made the decision to come out as a couple, Casey did his best Finn Hudson and told Mills to “treat her right,” and Shay decided the best way to get over her ex was to get under several hot ladies. No? Damnit. She decided that the only way to fill that Clarice and Wesley shaped hole was to fill it with some sperm.
We start the episode with Dawson standing alone along the side of the road holding two coffee cups. A black SUV pulls up and it’s the Chief.

Quentin Tarantino has been doing press for "Django Unchained" since early December, and it appears the director has reached his limit.
During a sit-down interview with Krishnan Guru-Murthy for Britain's Channel 4, Tarantino bristled when asked to explain his thoughts about whether movie violence can lead to real-life violence. "Don't ask me a question like that," Tarantino said. "I'm not biting. I refuse your question."
After Guru-Murthy asked Tarantino why he refused to answer the question, the director explained in no uncertain terms what he thinks of his relationship with the media. "I'm not your slave and you're not my master," Tarantino sniped. "You can't make me dance to your tune. I'm not a monkey."
Undeterred, Guru-Murthy pressed forward, trying to connect Tarantino with comments Jaime Foxx made about movie violence. "You should talk to Jamie Foxx about that. And I think he's actually here, so you can," Tarantino smirked,...

Director refuses to discuss relationship between onscreen and real-life violence in interview with Channel 4 News anchor, saying 'I'm shutting your butt down'
Quentin Tarantino clashed with Channel 4 News anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy during a fractious interview ahead of the London premiere of his new film, Django Unchained. The Oscar-winning film-maker repeatedly refused to offer an opinion on the link between screen violence and true-life violence and at one point told Guru-Murthy: "I'm shutting your butt down."
Last month's school shootings in Newtown, Connecticut, have focused attention on current Us gun control laws and reignited the debate about the depiction of violence in mainstream American cinema. Earlier this week, vice president Joe Biden summoned film lobbyists to discuss the issue at the White House.

The Season 8 premiere of "How I Met Your Mother" contained a rather big revelation at the end, and another scene with potentially big ramifications at the beginning.
But we're here to talk about a much smaller scene in the middle of the episode.
The one at the end, we've discussed already. And the one at the beginning -- the implication, based on Ted's (Josh Radnor) bad body language and "I don't want to talk about it" demeanor, that Barney and Robin's wedding day ended badly -- is a little bothersome. We obviously don't know the whole story yet, and maybe Ted is just talking about himself, but if we don't go "a little ways down the road" again until the "Himym" crew is ready to fill in all the details, we'd be Ok with that.
So anyway -- the scene in the middle. Barney's (Neil Patrick Harris) breathless rundown of...

When a JetBlue flight made an emergency landing in Denver to boot an unruly passenger, almost everyone was relieved –- everyone except for the man sitting next to the unsettled flyer.
The JetBlue flight headed to Los Angeles from New York diverted to Denver International Airport on Sunday night after Marcus Covington, a former Marine, allegedly groped a pregnant woman, made nonsensical comments to passengers and refused to stay in his seat, 9 News reports. But as the commotion unfolded, Los Angeles director Cassian Elwes made an attempt to calm down Covington, an experience that led him to reflect on Twitter what it means to return from war with psychological wounds (h/t BuzzFeeed).
I realize the point is these wars are fucking with our children's minds. A whole generation is being sent home screwed up.
