When one of team has a chute that fails to open he falls to the ground much faster than the rest of the team whose chutes opened as expected. When he hits the water, everyone on the ground immediately runs to his aid, including Jessie who should still be up in the air hanging from a parachute.
After Selkirk falls after his chute doesn't open and 2 men pull him out of the water, you see Jessie already at his side on the ground. In the next shot, Jessie is still running to Selkirk.
Just before Selkirk deploys his sabotaged parachute we see a close up of him in freefall where we can clearly see he is missing his main 3 ring connectors, which means he has already cut away from his main in that shot.
When Ty is killing Jagger, his (Ty's) cutaway handle is red. But when he lands, it's purple-ish.
In his first jump with his team, Nessip is mostly shown with an orange cutaway handle. However, immediately after landing, on the same jump, Nessip is shown with a yellow cutaway handle.
When the 747 depressurizes, the pilots initiate a dive for an emergency landing. The airplane is shown from outside with its landing gear down. A pilot would never extend the landing gear at cruising speed, even during an emergency landing sequence.
The plane used by Jessie's pilot is a Pilatus PC-6 Porter powered by a turbine engine. It does not backfire not does it sound like a piston engine as heard in the movie.
When Ty and Nessip square off in the Fed building with empty guns, the slides in their semi-automatics should be racked back indicating empty clips.
Swoop is way up on the top of a skyscraper, yet he can hear Nessip calling for someone to stop Leedy.
When the Police come off the elevator and a gunfight erupts with them Ty & Pete. You see Ty & Pete trying to shoot each other while reaching over the desk between them. But when you see Ty reach over and fire you see the slide lock open, meaning he is out of ammunition and would need to reload. But, in the next instant, he keeps firing.
When Nessip falls through the trap door of the plane, he doesn't have a chute (because he is a tandem guest). During free-fall the stunt double clearly wears a chute.
When Selkirk's (Jess' sabotaged) parachute fails to open, there are back and forth shots between those in the air and the people at the judge's table. At one point, the frantic judges are yelling "Pull it! Pull it!" except the woman standing behind those judges who have been seated. She has a broad smile on her face which is odd considering what is happening.
The shot when we see Selkirk deploy his canopy that malfunctions is obviously reversed. He deploys with his left hand instead of his right and his cut-away pillow and reserve handle or on opposite sides to the correct position.
When Nessip rescues Jessie after falling from the plane, her legs bend the wrong way when they land, indicating that a dummy was used.
When the crew are parachuting off the government building to escape from their 'practice run' they land in the back of a get-away truck. After Gary Busey lands they show the next two landing together. The second one comes in ahead of the truck and would have been hit by the truck as it drives forward.
Right before the DC qualifying jump begins, a camera operator can be seen filming the crowd underneath the canopy. Although one could argue that he might just be filming for a news crew or making a documentary about the jump, the Panavision film camera he's clearly using is not suited for that sort of work.
When Ty crashes through the windshield of the truck in the final scene, in the wide shot of the truck crashing to a halt a tripod with a camera on top of it can be seen.
Ty and his team were supposed to be landing and infiltrating the "DEA Building" in Washington DC. We know this building is supposedly 27 stories high as one of the agents in the building hit the button in the elevator for Floor 27. No building in DC is that high, with the exception of the Washington Monument.
The DEA agent in the DC office makes a sandwich with Best Foods mayonnaise. Best Foods is known as Hellmann's on the East coast.
When Wesley Snipes is forced out of the plane, this is against skydiving regulations. If someone chooses not to jump, no instructor is allowed to make them. He could not only file a lawsuit but the skydiving instructor could face prison time and could face potential attempted murder charges and she could go back to prison, this just wouldn't happen in reality.
