Fun-ny!

Problem once and present in many Hong Kong B-Movies is matter on firm narrative and solid structure. Mostly are not focus and running wild in the entire movie. Lang Wen Ye Jing Hun a.k.a. Midnight Caller a.k.a. Terror In The Night (TINT) is suffering the same thing.

TINT told us about a female radio announcer whose have a midnight show and being terrorized by her caller called The Hungry Wolf whose claim him self as putting a bomb is several public area. And the bomb explodes eventually. To solve this case, she's work with a clueless cop and sadly it does also start the clueless events during the entire movie!

We really should never judge a book by its cover. TINT seem have a good premise to be a fine thriller (based on the title and premise). But, the fact is this movie is elaborated more on the comedic side! TINT even doesn't have any clear main plot. It got no any suspense at all! It does have some thrill but not satisfying enough. On the contrary, it more is focusing on romantic comedy side, which actually doesn't really need for this movie.

Apart from the dull concept, actually this movie is fun to watch. I have a mucho good laugh over it. We can classify this into bad-but-entertaining type. Even though I will not watch it again in a near future, but I think I could still enjoy it.
