- A lion is killed with one shot. We see the body.
- A man is dragged out of his tent and screams as he is eaten. The screams and death is brief and offscreen. We see very briefly his body being eaten by birds.
- A man is attacked and devoured by a lion. Quite bloody.
- Masai warriors drink the blood of a cow as a ritual.
- Blood from animals is thrown all over an old hospital and body parts of cows etc are dumped. Cows are are tied up inside the building. All this is used to lure in the lions.
- Charles Remington and John Patterson hunt the lions and find their cave and discover many bones of their prey.
- A lion kills a baboon (offscreen). The lion jumps towards Patterson but is shot. Remington joins Patterson in hunting the wounded lion. The lion jumps at them and is shot in the head by Remington.
- A man dreams that his wife is killed by a lion when she comes to visit him.
- The other lion attacks Patterson and he endures a long chase with the lion until he manages to shoot it in the body. It crawls across the ground and he shoots it in the head. We see the bullet wound in the head for a few seconds.

- John Henry Patterson and his friend Angus are ambushed by a lion. John gets a bad scratch wound on his arm while Angus dies form getting his throat slashed. Brief but bloody.
- A hospital of injured men all get attacked and killed by lions at night; it is graphic.
- Patterson goes into Remington's tent and finds a pool of blood. He grabs his rifle and follows the tracks. He finds the remainder of the body (offscreen). But we see blood covering the crops.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is a scene of an african ritual which involves the tribe drinking the blood of a cow. They have african make-up and are around a fire at night. There is a scene of a baboon being killed in order to lure the man-eating lions. Human bones are discovered by hunters and realize the lions are killing people for pleasure. There are numerous suspenceful scenes that show lions chasing villagers.
