Sympathetic look on singers

In the era of reform, entertainers such as singers and actors are looked down on because they were not considered to have brains, but only have good voices and looks, which are born naturally. This film tells the tale of a singer's struggle to stardom and points out that for some singers had to and did work hard to get where they are.
