The View has been airing repeats all week, and fans are ready for new episodes to watch.
The hardworking ladies have taken a much-needed hiatus for Spring Break, leaving everyone with a week of rerun episodes.
By taking this time away from filming The View, the ladies should be coming back next week refreshed and ready to take on the hot topics robustly.
Fans were upset with the extended break the ladies took for Christmas. The last half of December was mostly old episodes, as reported by Monsters and Critics.
A few ladies have checked in on social media this week, letting fans know where they have been on vacation, while others have gone dark on the internet.
Sara Haines showed pictures of herself and her husband enjoying a break in Turks and Caicos.

Chris Evans played the role of Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America in the MCU. For almost a decade, the actor entertained fans with his unrelenting optimism and good-old heroism in films such as Captain America: The First Avengers, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. The actor departed from the role after the end of his character arc in Endgame.
While fans want Evans to return to his role for the upcoming Avengers 5, the actor seems to be done with the character for a while. However, he did not rule out the possibility of returning to the MCU as a whole, as he expressed his desire to play Johnny Storm again. The actor had previously played the role in Fox’s Fantastic Four, which starred Jessica Alba.

While some surprises can be nice, The View fans were not okay with the network’s latest decisions. Recently, fans expressed their anger over the latest episode that was aired.
Scheduling Shake-Up
Unexpectedly, The View had a major scheduling mix-up that left fans up in arms. When the fans went to watch their regularly scheduled program, they were in for a rude awakening. Unbeknownst to them, the panelists were taking some time off the air. Little did they know, the episode airing was a month-old replay, but fans caught on quickly. Understandably, the sneaky move left many fans raging upon the discovery of the show not being live. Although fans are enraged, the daytime TV network is offering a return date to appease the masses in the meantime.

If you turned on ABC with hopes of hearing The View cohosts’ fiery takes on the latest news Monday morning (of which there is a lot), well, you were probably disappointed to see that the show wasn’t live or new. Unfortunately, that will continue to be the case all week, as the show is on a bye week, with reruns airing all week while the hosts have a bit of a spring break off. On Monday, it was the February 15 episode featuring Jennifer Lopez as the guest of the day that aired. On Tuesday, April 23, the show will again show its episode from March 12, which featured Tamron Hall and Patton Oswalt. Then, on Wednesday, April 24, the network will re-air its March 14 episode with actor Ice-t and CNN’s Jim Sciutto, and on Thursday, April 25, fans can revisit the show’s April 2 episode featuring Valerie Bertinelli, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Wilson Cruz.

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe established a stronghold over pop culture in the 2010s, taking on comic book roles became a lucrative trend for actors of all ages. But after the overwhelming success of “Avengers: Endgame,” esteemed thespians who joined superhero franchises often found themselves chasing another milestone: A dramatic death scene.
Michael Douglas has made no secret of the fact that he hopes his “Ant-Man” character Hank Pym receives an on-screen death sequence. While promoting the most recent franchise entry “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” the actor quipped that he would only return for a fourth film “as long as I can die.” But as it turns out, he privately lobbied for a death scene even earlier than that.
In a recent appearance on “The View” (via Entertainment Weekly), Douglas revealed that he requested to have his character killed off in “Quantumania.” While Kevin Feige and company didn’t ultimately honor his wishes,...

Knowing when there will be reruns or previously recorded episodes is very important for fans of The View.
Everyone loves tuning in to see what the popular show hosts will discuss next, and it is a great disappointment when The View is not new.
Earthquakes, fires at nearby studios, and even an eclipse cannot keep the ladies from their seats, as they’ve proven this month.
However, as fans have started to speculate, a yearly phenomenon called “spring break” causes them to take an earned and much-needed vacation from the show.
Friday’s show was previously recorded, so the gang may have already started on their vacation.
Brian Teta, the show’s executive producer, shared some news about next week’s plans on his podcast, The View: Behind the Table.

2023 may yet be remembered as the year the superhero movie died. Peyton Reed's "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" was released in February 2023 and was the first notable comic book-based bomb of the year. The film was notoriously re-jiggered throughout its production, with massive and expensive SFX being finalized up to the last minute. The official budget ballooned to $200 million, although separate reports have pegged the price tag as being closer to that of Disney's notorious box office misfire "John Carter" (which cost $263 million to make). "Quantumania" still grossed $464 million, but that's considered low for a Marvel movie.
Throughout 2023, more bombs dropped as superhero movies either lost money or were considered disappointments. "Shazam! Fury of the Gods," "The Flash," "Blue Beetle," "The Marvels," and "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" all tanked, and while many went to see "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3," it felt like the last kick in a closing series.

As an Amazon Freevee show, “Neighbours” has been nominated for the 2024 Daytime Emmys alongside CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless,” as well as Peacock’s “Days of Our Lives,” ABC’s “General Hospital” and Popstar! TV’s “The Bay.”
Basically, pretty much everything eligible. But how did “Neighbours” make it to eligibility for the first time on these shores? When Amazon Freevee revived “Neighbours” in 2023 (after the show had been canceled the previous year), Amazon MGM Studios became the primary financier and distributor of the series,...

On Wednesday’s episode of The View, the Different World cast reunited alongside the series’ producer and director, Debbie Allen. But while speaking about the show’s guest stars, the spotlight shifted to Whoopi Goldberg, who was moderating the conversation alongside her The View co-stars Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines.
When asked by Haines what she remembered about working alongside Goldberg, Allen shared that the Egot winner was the show’s “secret weapon” when it came to making its powerful season four episode about the AIDS epidemic, “If I Should Die Before I Wake.”
Goldberg, fresh off her Oscar-winning performance in Ghost, made a cameo as a professor who assigns the students to write their own eulogies. Fellow guest star Tisha Campbell appeared as student Josie, who reveals during the assignment that she has AIDS.

Just days after President Joe Biden decried the wage disparity between female and male athletes, Whoopi Goldberg said on ABC’s The View that ESPN should “sweeten” its deal for the broadcast rights of WNBA games.
After pointing out the Clark will make an initial annual salary of $76,535 as a player for the Indiana Fever, Goldberg then noted, “The entire Fever payroll is $1.2 million. That is less than the minimum salary for a single NBA player with a year’s experience.”
The women players, Goldberg continued, “have the headlines, they have the fans, they have the viewers, when the hell are they going to get paid?” Noting that ESPN and ABC are both part of the “Disney thing,” Goldberg added that ESPN “should have kissed this deal by taking care of all of the WNBA and given them enough money for a bump up because you know you have another deal to make.

On Wednesday’s episode of The View, the panel was discussing one controversial topic over Travis Kelce. While Travis is usually in the news for football or association with his pop icon girlfriend, Taylor Swift, now he’s getting political. Caitlin Clark proved to be one of the most-watched sensations in all of sports this year, catapulting her Iowa Hawkeyes college team to the widely-watched national championships. After smashing scoring records in the NCAA, she was drafted as the number-one pick by the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. Her reported salary? She’ll make $76,535 for her first year, $78,066 for the second year, and $85,873 for the third. She also has a fourth-year option of $97,582. Whether she gets that rumored eight-figure endorsement deal with Nike or not, the difference between her salary and that of newly drafted NBA players is staggering and had many folks, up to and including President Joe Biden, speaking out against the pay disparity. The ladies of The View had particularly strong insights on the matter since ABC Studios, where they work, is affiliated with ESPN, which recently elevated its broadcast coverage of the sport, through parent company Disney.

Michael Douglas wanted to have a “serious” death scene in 2023’s Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and requested his character be killed off.
As the actor promoted his Apple TV+ series Franklin, Douglas opened up about the Marvel film in which he played Dr. Hank Pym. Ahead of the third film in the Ant-Man saga, the actor said he asked for his character to die.
“This actually was my request for the third one,” Douglas said on The View. “I said I’d like to have a serious [death], with all these great special effects. There’s got to be some fantastic way where I can shrink to an ant size and explode, whatever it is. I want to use all those effects.”
He continued, “But, that was on the last one. Now, I don’t think I’m going to show up.”

Michael Douglas has quite a presence in the MCU. His name is currently assigned to Hank Pym one of the most memorable Ant-Men in the history of Marvel comics. Currently, Douglas has played the role in 3 ‘Ant-Man’ installments and briefly appeared in ‘Endgame.’ But as it turns out, the actor has had a death wish for his character for quite a while now.
He recently appeared on ‘The View’ to promote his new Apple TV+ historical drama series ‘Franklin,’ and revealed that he wanted his character to die in the third installment, mostly because it would have been cool to utilize those special effects.

Michael Douglas played Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man, in the MCU. Douglas has appeared in all three Ant-Man films, starting with the first one in 2015. However, he was not entirely happy working in the latest film in the trilogy since the filmmakers failed to implement his one wish for his character. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was a disaster at the box office and it is highly doubtful whether Douglas would appear in another MCU film.

Douglas’ Hank Pym is a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, entomologist, and physicist. He was a friend and colleague of John Slattery’s Howard Stark and Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter. Interestingly, Douglas chose the Ant-Man role after a few failed projects.

Michael Douglas has been plotting his exit from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and admits he’d asked to be killed off in the last Ant-Man film.
It looks like Michael Douglas is done with Marvel movies. The screen legend has played Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man across several films now, beginning with 2015’s Ant-Man. Douglas was a major part of that first film, but as the series has progressed, he’s found himself part of an ever-increasing ensemble, not to mention doing more and more work in front of a giant green screen.
Still, Michael Douglas must have grown somewhat comfortable with the latter given that he outlined his demands for the character’s death to Marvel, and special effects seemed to be a key part. Speaking at the premiere of last year’s Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania (it’s been almost a year now and that title is...

The View hosts kicked off their segment in the usual way Tuesday, covering the latest major headlines with fiery exchanges. Only this time, the matter that captivated them the most in their first “Hot Topics” session was the reporting that Donald Trump fell asleep during the first day of his criminal trial in New York. To mark the occasion, the cohosts filed out onto the stage to the tune of Wham!’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go,” with Whoopi Goldberg explaining, “Yesterday was the first day of You Know Who’s hush money trial, and among the many reports coming out of the courtroom is that You Know Who could not keep his eyes open.” They then reviewed one of the many, many hilarious late-night host’s takes on the same story: Jon Stewart’s line from The Daily Show Monday night. “Imagine doing so many crimes that...

The cohosts each presented their perspectives on the matter of Trump’s trial, largely agreeing that it is an “unprecedented” and “shameful” situation. They ran into some friction, however, when they got to the second segment of the discussion about New Hampshire Gov. Will The View return for Season 28 this fall, and if not, what will take its place? Many fans may ask that question after surprising news about The Talk.
When one talk show is canceled, fans wonder if their favorite one will be axed, too, and The View fans may wonder how it is doing and if it will be renewed.
The Talk, which seemed created to compete with The View, will end its run in December with Season 15.
CBS announced that The Talk, with Sheryl Underwood, Jerry O Connell, and Natalie Morales will finish up a shortened season in December 2024 and not return in January 2025, Deadline reports.
The View has not yet been renewed for Season 28, and that news may not come until later that summer, like last year. However, there are clues that the renewal will come soon.
Despite rumors circulating last month that ABC dropped The View from the lineup,...

“The Talk” is going silent. CBS is ending the long-running daytime chat show, which will get an abbreviated final season (its 15th) this fall, before signing off for good with what it’s calling a “celebratory sendoff” in December.
Rumors of the show’s end have been swirling for months, but CBS made it official to the show’s cast and crew on Friday morning. The news comes as CBS and the NAACP are developing a new daytime soap opera under their content partnership, “The Gates,” a partnership with P&g Studios, a division of Procter & Gamble. “The Gates,” which “follows the lives of a wealthy Black family in a posh, gated community,” is seen as a potential replacement for “The Talk.”
In a joint statement, CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach and CBS Studios prexy David Stapf said, “’The Talk’ broke new ground when it launched 14 years ago by returning...

There was little love for the divorcing Golden Bachelor couple on The View today, as the cohosts on ABC’s daytime talker took aim at ABC’s romance-for-seniors reality show.
“For six months you tortured me every Friday and made me talk about this topic, which I can’t stand because I think it’s manufactured and a complete crock,” said Ana Navarro about the View‘s weekly Golden Bachelor post-mortems. “So today I get to say, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so.”
Earlier today on ABC’s Good Morning America, Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist announced that they are getting a divorce just three months after their much-hyped televised wedding in January.
Navarro had previously spoken about her dislike for the Bachelor show and the genre, but cohost Sunny Hostin had been a fan. Past tense.
