In a world of crime and drugs one man's mission begins with the murder of his brother, and leads him on a vengeful quest for justice.

This must be the most underrated masterpieces of Stanly's career. I believe this movie was an epic film of discovery and heartache. The inner struggle of the main character and the loss of his older brother brought tears to my eyes. One if the memorable scenes is of me in my beanie stranding' in the principal's office. You must be completely blind to not believe in this vision. Pay close attention to Kubrick's use of the very talented Key Grip in this powerful "sleeper" worthy of a legacy that only time will prove. If you loved Midnight Madness, and you still think of Electric Boogaloo every time you hear someone say "Turbo" this is the film for you. TRUST ME! You won't be disappointed. Word!

One of my former film professors made this film...

In my Narrative Film class at a University in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, our instructor taught us many interesting facts in the making of a movie. Somethings we should do and not do when make a movie, such as you can make a bad movie from a good script, but you can't make a good movie from a bad script. Yet, when you view this movie, you may wonder why your film instructor never seemed to follow his own advice in regards to making a movie. Horrendous movie...acting, story, lighting all terrible. Though it was nice to see some of the Texas locations they used. I'm glad I didn't have to pay to see the movie, it was shown to us in class! Instead of learning what to do in the production of a movie, I have learned what not to do by just viewing this film, Takedown.
