Nicely portrays a young man's troubles with his stagnant life.

Filmed in Pontiac, Illinois, where I happen to live, this film is very nicely shot. I don't only say that because I see all the locations used in the film on a daily basis, but the film makes Pontiac seem to be a good, cute little town in which no one can be harmed. Having grown up in that town, I realize that this film is actually very accurate.

Although the film seems to be like all the other films like it, where the main character is very smart and wants to do something with his life but can't seem to find the motivation to make a big change, the best aspect of the film is its darkness. Although he thinks he needs a change, in the end, he stays the same because he LIKES living in Pontiac, IL, and he kind of realizes that he doesn't really want to leave after all.
