Sex & Nudity

  • The little boy is seen naked in a communal bath

Violence & Gore

  • Lots and lots of gushing and spraying hyper red blood. It doesn't look realistic, but there is a lot of it. Usually pouring from holes in shirts, but multiple limbs and heads are cutoff and seen lying around. You sometimes see the stump or headless corpse. The most graphic of these is a man who commits suicide and blood explodes/gushes from his abdomen (no wound seen).
  • Swords are seen passing through bodies
  • Some people are shot (bloodless)
  • A bunch of attackers have limbs cut off and flail around in anguish.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The fighting is very graphic and potentially frightening with all of the gore that occurs. The little boy is always present, so younger kids might question why he is constantly in danger and witnessing this stuff. The rape scene is not graphic but is psychologically disturbing. A father wishes his child were dead, this may be confusing to kids.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A main character is a female warrior that frequently visibly exposes her tattooed breasts to intimidate and confuse attackers. She is topless a lot and seen fully nude but laying on her stomach a few times. At one point her breasts and thighs are visibly groped, she is restrained and it is implied she was raped.
