"Chocolate For Breakfast" aired on cable under the title "Four and a Half Women". A cute, lively little comedy about four roomies and their day-to-day vicissitudes is full of the usual girl talk stuff: career, boyfriends, sex, pregnancy, yeast infections, and the ever popular "issues". I frowned at first but was quickly won over by the fresh faces, solid performances, and script's creative edge. A fun sitcom level non-rated watch for females old enough for an "R" rating.

Great Date Movie

This movie has very fresh ideas and interesting, even quirky, characters. It is well-written and entertaining, and there is something for everyone despite the main characters being 4 women. A bit like "Sex in the City" meets "Ally McBeal", it is both very funny and very poignant.
Ingenious, all the way around!

One of the most deftly written and conceptualised plots, ever - long before the HBO "Sex and the City"; Colorful and intriguing characters with standout performances by all concerned; Who would have ever thought that four (very different) women sharing an apartment in New York could be so much fun! - with all their career problems, personal problems and MEN problems; Very palatable; very enjoyable!; A well-told tale!; One of the most creative, up-and-coming directors, around. A++
