She Dreams On Having Sex With Every Man But Her Husband
claudio_carvalho20 October 2006
Regina (Helena Ramos) is a woman from a poor family and married with and former secretary of the wealthy Hélio (Nuno Leal Maia). Regina has a block with Hélio and can not have sex with him, in spite of fantasizing kinky sex with every man she meets. She goes to a shrink and while resolving her childhood trauma, Hélio has an affair with his secretary Lúcia (Wilma Dias) and leaves Regina. Later, they meet each other by chance, and the healed Regina finally satisfies Hélio.

This soft porn was very successful in the beginning of the 80's in Brazil and has eighteen non-explicit sex scenes, including bondage, threesome, lesbianism, rape, sodomy, fellatio and incest, and the nudity of the muse and queen of Boca do Lixo Helena Ramos, Kate Lyra, Maria Lúcia Dahl and Wilma Dias, all of them in the top of their beauty and shape. The shallow story with a silly psychological background is the motive for variations of perverted sex scenes, inclusive a joke with Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds", but with pigeons instead. This feature is a delight for fans of sexploitation with some of the sexiest Brazilian "actress" of the 80's. My vote is six.

Title (Brazil): "Mulher Objeto" ("Object Woman")

Note: (1) On 11 November 2009, I saw this movie again.

(2) On 23 March 2011, I saw this movie again.

There are flaws, but the film is much better than it seems to be
guisreis6 October 2020
Despite its flaws (technical mistakes in script, acting and edition) and an uncceptable romanticization of rape in the last part, this Brazilian softcore film is a nice psychological drama, with a good story and character development. The most interesting trait to be highlighted is the aesthetics, strongly influenced by horror movies, mainly those European ones from the 70's with elements of eroticism. However, there is also a car-under-the-rain scene that is a copy if the one presented in Hitchcock's Psycho. Worth watching.

A Hot Piece of Brazilian Cinema!!!
Missa Negra8 April 2002
This movie is about a woman, his troubles in her marriage (She can't have sex with her husband but she dreams every time with sex with another men...)and her seek for the truth behind her problems (Very shocking truth that I won't reveal here...You'll have to watch to know) The film is plenty of very graphic scenes (full of nudity) featuring her most obscures desires...No, it's not porn, but it's very sexy...Just my kind of movie. The acting is very good.Nuno Leal Maia is perfect as Hélio (the husband) and Helena Ramos (Regina, the main caracter) is a gorgeous GODDESS!Very hot and desirable woman... :-) The plot itself is well done.Good script. One of my favorite movies. If you can find this hot piece of Brazilian Cinema (Not an easy task unfortunately) watch it! You won't regret.

The Urge to Splurge
Nodriesrespect28 September 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Ah, the rampant nymphomaniac, that staple ingredient of erotic fiction, sex films would be lost without her ! In this surprisingly stylish slice of Brazilian soft core, former thespian Silvio De Abreu – who would go on to achieve considerable fame as a TV soap scribe – trots out a test case by name of Regina. Literally embodied by impossibly gorgeous Helena Ramos (who likewise wound up on "telenovelas"), she finds herself continuously plagued by all too vivid sex fantasies giving way to real life trysts with just about everyone she meets and subsequently "meats" ! Sorry about that.

Naturally, taking into account the movie's cod-scientific pretenses, those sinful urges can be traced to a traumatic childhood experience. Since salsa skin flicks rarely shy away from abundant teen nudity, said trauma involves a bout of under age groping (including the brief shot of an erect and mighty tasty-looking member) at the back of church during mass with the branding of our nubile heroine as a precocious slut upon discovery, all set to Bernard Herrmann's instantly recognizable PSYCHO theme ! Through hypnosis at the hands of a sanctimonious and smitten shrink, she's miraculously cured and free to love her sappy savior. Don't you just love a happy ending ?

Corny conclusion aside, this charming carnal confection has the good sense to devote the bulk of its hefty 105 minute running time to the sight of ravishing Ramos in various stages of undress, lovingly captured by Antonio Meliande who shot Jose Mojica Marins' ultra-groovy O EXORCISMO NEGRO half a decade earlier. I guess those folks over at Disney were right. It is a small world after all !
