Flying on the ground is wrong.

Character Ademaï began his career in shorts ;as they were successful , the producers went ahead with the biggie and featured him in three feature films : "Ademaï aviateur" was the first one ,followed by "Andemaï Bandit d'honneur" and the best of the lot " Ademaï au moyen âge"(in which Noel -Noel was joined by Michel Simon).

Ademaï is a blissfully ignorant who has joined the Air Force; during a furlough , he 's given so much work by the farmer's wife that the fatigue duties of the army are nothing compared to it; besides they want him to marry their daughter Marie-Jeanne.

Back on the base ,he learns that ,when you receive a pilot training ,you do not have any leaves . So he applies for the training course .

The title is a misnomer for Ademaï can only practise piloting in the last twenty minutes; he mistakes another trainee (Fernandel who is a long time coming)for an instructor and both take off .But there's the rub: none of them know how to land and Andemaï has read that "75% of the accidents happen when a plane lands " . Because of the noise ,the pilot and his assistant communicate through messages full of spelling mistakes .Will they stay in the clouds forever?

A moderately funny little comedy.
