***.5:Sure it seems like a bland mix of TMNT & the MMPR show but its actually a good game.

All a bit too short..well thats kinda true but this game is NOT bad I'll point out some things that I just started now.

The Good: Good Gameplay & such but its mainly a fun game to go with & its good for those who like the original PR series such as myself.

The Bad: OK this basically feels like Fox competing against Ninja turtles because of game set-up. But it doesn't damage the game all that much but the game could've been a bit more complex.

The Ugly: Nothing really all that ugly here.

It's Morphin Time

Warning: Spoilers
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers one of the many hit shows from the 1990s and I remember how huge a fan of I was of the show so when I saw the game I knew I had to get it for me and my brother.

Reviewer Note: "Due to never had played the Super Nintendo copy in full I'll be reviewing The Sega Genesis edition"

The Sega Genesis of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is set as a fighting game which were very popular in the 1990s the game play feels like Street Fighter 2 which isn't a bad idea since Street Fighter 2 was my first fighting game I played.

The game feature a two player mode where you can play as Jason The Red Ranger, Zack The Black Ranger, Kimberly The Pink Ranger, Billy The Blue Ranger and Trini The Yellow Ranger as well as Tommy The Green Ranger you also get to play as Megazord and Dragonzord.

Also you get to play as Goldar, Madam Woe, Minotaur and Cyclopsis the villains for the game story mode.

The Story mode take places during the events of the first season. You pick any of the five rangers to take on the monsters that Rita sends to Earth.

This is one of the first video games to feature cut scenes I know it's not uncommon these days but back than it felt like a step up in the video game world to have cut scenes to help tell the story of the game.

Graphic wise the game had decent graphics but the cut scenes were good enough to make up for it the music is feeling like going back in time it even has the theme to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The game play is really the strong point of the game where you can have friends over to play and battle as your favorite ranger or monster to see who is superior.

Controls are simple and easy so it is a good game to play and easy to pick up and play. It should be a easy find online or at Flea markets and if you're a fan of fighters this might be good for you.

I give Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Video Game a 8 out of 10

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!
Movie Nuttball5 May 2005
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is one of the one of the coolest action video games! The characters, the action, and the sure thrill of adventure makes this game a fun non-stop playing time! Below is a brief look how I think the game is!

Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!

Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Sega Genesis CD. The backgrounds are really beautiful! Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!

Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!

Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!

Overall: I have always loved Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! If you like excellent adventure games, fighting, and more then I strongly recommend you play this game!

Awesome, I'm still awing right now (Spoiler)
Access Sanctuary3 June 2000
Warning: Spoilers
SUPER N.E.S. VERSION:

Basically, Rita Repulsa and her evil henchmen are attacking the quiet, peaceful Angel Grove and it's up to the Power Rangers to stop them. While hopping from monster-to-monster; the rangers will have to fight Puddies and several robot shooting-machines.

THE MONSTER LINE-UP: Bones, Gnarley Gnome, Eye Guy, Genie, Dark Warrior, Mutitus, and Cyclopsis. Sleep-inducing, but entertaining game has fun level-gameplay. But, while playing the rangers is nice, the real fun is playing as the Megazord. And the 2-player secret codes are good fun too. To find the codes, all you have to do is beat the game. 7 levels. Challenging enough?

Worst Film Ever!
penguin96316 September 2000
This movie is one of the worst I have ever seen! Then again, it is the worst I have ever seen! It is awful from start to finish. I would almost rather grind my head in a blender than watch it again. Do not- I repeat DO NOT- watch this movie as it may be hazardous to your health.

Pretty bad
JediBatman6 November 2002
This game was bad. It is a rip off of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games. The game could have been so sweet if you could have morphed on command. Instead you can only morph when fighting bosses. The game was easy, but it was designed for kids so what do you expect. I would give it a 1 1/2 on a scale of 1 -5.
