According to Violent J's audio book "Behind the Paint", Jerry Only of The Misfits fame, who appeared with members of his band during the Michael Graves-era of The Misfits in the donut eatery, become a "nightmare" on set. Violent noted that while the whole band "did their thing were awesome & left" after one day of filming, he states that not long after Jerry Only became "somewhat of a nightmare". Returning most shooting days with his grandmother's Italian meatball recipe day after day. He would also suddenly start talking about classic punk rock gigs (Sid Vicious & such) and would "beginning rubbing your back" as J tried to eat lunch, totally "weirding him out". He also had a 'stage mom' like presence for his son whom appeared briefly as an alter boy, which J didn't understand since it was such a nothing non-speaking part. J noted that he was truly happy once the shoot was over that Jerry Only was gone for goods that he couldn't harass other actors (such as Mick Foley) or himself anymore.
According to Violent J, Twiztid's two members Jamie Madrox and Monoxide wanted to smoke pot with Harland Williams since he was in 'Half Baked', but Harland Williams refused because he didn't smoke pot.

According to Violent J, the actor that played Father Duckett - Keith Perry - was planned to play The Mortician in the follow up movie 'Big Money Rustlas'. The character was instead played by Blaze Ya Dead Homie.
