A great movie for all ages

Despite the fact that this movie is made up of still pictures, DANGEROUS JOURNEY nonetheless brings to life John Bunyan's classic tale of hope and salvation. I first saw this version of the story of Pilgrim's Progress at a very young age, and even after years have passed, I am still impressed at how well this movie was made. It might be long, but it is most certainly worth seeing if you're unfamiliar with Bunyan's timeless book. The movie is divided into nine parts, each 45 minutes long, and despite how few of actors there are, one can easily tell what characteristics are being portrayed for each role in the film.

This movie tells the story of Christian, a man trapped in a city doomed to be destroyed by fire. Unless he can find a means of escape, then he, along with the rest of his family, will all fall with the rest of the city. However, the only means of escape comes in the form of a long, perilous journey to the Celestial City, a journey that has dangers of its own, including demons, giants, greed, darkness, and death. It is now Christian's choice to either face the trials that come with this quest, or face an inevitable doom.

For those that are familiar with the classic, DANGEROUS JOURNEY can move the hearts of both adults and children. For those who have yet to read the book or see this movie, I would encourage them to do both.
