- Roj Blake is a former rebel leader who learns from outlawed protesters about the truth about himself and discovers he once led a resistance group against the evil intergalactic government The Federation, The Federation captured Blake and they brainwashed him and erased his memories. Apprihended after the protesters are slaughtered by Federation Guards, Blake is framed for a series of crimes he didn't do and is sentenced to exile on the prison planet Cygnus Alpha. After a failed attempt to take the prison ship under siege, Blake along with smuggler Jenna Stannis and computer expert Kerr Avon are sent to investigate a abandoned alien spaceship, Blake, Jenna and Avon takes control of the ship and escapes. Renaming the alien spaceship "The Liberator", Blake begins his crusade to overthrow The Federation, Blake sets out to Cygnus Alpha to free the prisoners, only to find Vargas, the supreme ruler wants to take over "The Liberator" in his goal of total power and conquest of the universe and also sets out to Saurian Major to destroy a communications complex, where The Liberator stumbles upon a unidentified space projectile with three dangerous aliens that causes havoc on-board.—Daniel Williamson
