Corruption, Romance and Deceit
junay018 December 2006
Clara Rosa Guzman is a product of deceit... the outcome of a passion between a wealthy landowner and cattle rancher living in Santa Barbara del Zulia, and a peasant woman by the name of Rosalinda, who is presumed dead after her disappearance in the turbulent waters of a river. Emiliano Andara, the father of the child, never accepted Clara Rosa as his child and refused to see her. Clara Rosa is an intelligent woman with a lot of illusions. Her aunt Vicenta, a poor and bitter woman, brought her up in the slums of Caracas with two sons. Her family's financial situation forces Clara Rosa to make a living as a street peddler, although she is filled with illusions of a better life.

Meanwhile, Emiliano Andara, her father, has become an important personality in the country's political destiny. His first wife, Montserrat marries his political opponent Lisandro Prado who himself is unscrupulous and a bitter enemy of Emilianoґs. He and his new wife Eugenia have raised his dead brother's sons as their own; two successful young men named Valentin and Francisco. Valentin is an attorney and an intelligent politician with a great future ahead of him. He meets Linda Prado who is the daughter of his fatherґs worst enemy. Valentin's hell begins when he falls into a selfish and devious passion with Linda, conceiving a child that forces them into marriage.

A violent uprising in the city sets the scene for the abrupt meeting of Clara Rosa and Valentin... and from that moment on, their lives will never be the same again, for the passionate love that is born of that casual encounter gives way to a series of disturbing events that will deeply affect them both. Morena Clara is a true story where politics, corruption, influences and dirty money are the main ingredients.
