A smart, funny look at the Canadian economy
tharrx11 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A lot of the Canadian National Film Board animated shorts are sugar-coated civic lessons, but no one can sugar coat them like the NFB, which always places Entertainment before education.

But this is one of those ideal ones, where the message and the fun are one and the same, as we follow a professional safecracker on his search for a decent livelihood in the winter. His solution, surprisingly, is one that could help the whole Canadian economy.

I assumed the pic was a recent one done with a period flavor, but it's from 1957, and looks just perfect.
