Violence & Gore

  • The three protagonists enter a Chess room. As they all play, we see most chess pieces getting broken into pieces by other chess pieces as we see Harry getting a few mild blood marks. This scene is non-stop intense.
  • Harry, Ron and Hermione fall into a pit full of plant tentacles called Devil's Snare. They come alive and wrap them up. Hermione struggles while getting tied all over, Ron gets wrapped in the neck to his torso as the tentacles wrap him from behind, and Harry is seen being pinned down when getting covered. Hermione and Harry later set themselves free, but Ron severely struggles and endless tentacles crawl everywhere and wrap all over him aggressively including his neck and his mouth. Luckily, Hermione sets him free with a spell and Ron is fine.
  • During the quidditch match, someone is jinxing Harry's broomstick and he almost falls off. Hermione distracts the jinxer by lighting a coat on fire and distracting him. His identity is revealed at the climax
  • A troll tries to kill Hermione with a club, but Harry and Ron save her by sticking a wand up its nose and knocking him out. No blood but lots of snot
  • Quirrell, who is revealed to be the bad guy with Voldemort on the back of his head, tries to strangle Harry, but Harry touches his hand and the hand immediately turns into crumbling stone. Harry then touches Quirrell's face, and it also disintegrates, turning the rest of him into rocks and making him fall to the ground, killing him. Voldemort rises in spirit form, hits Harry and flies away. Harry faints but wakes up in hospital later
  • Harry has a couple cuts and a bloody gash on his hand at the end.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A spirit version of Voldemort after Harry kills Quirrell. Voldemort's spirit hits him and knocks him out.
