Two all new celebrities in disguise took on returning champ Medusa for “New York Night” on Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.” After an off-key rendition of “Rapture” by Blondie, Polar Bear was named the third-place finisher behind California Roll and Medusa. The cool-as-ice performer pulled off his mask to reveal himself as Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and hip-hop legend Grandmaster Flash. Panelist Nicole Scherzinger correctly guessed the iconic DJ, but Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy were off base.

“Buck wild” is how actress Shalita Grant says she works. The Julliard School alumnus and past Tony Award nominee reveals in her exclusive interview with Gold Derby about recurring on “Search Party” (watch the video above), “I never know my lines. I don’t learn them. I don’t learn them the night before; I don’t learn them the morning of. I learn them probably about 10 minutes before we go up.” Grant explains that this process allows her to “go with the flow” on any last-minute script rewrites, “to listen in a very specific way” to her scene partners and finally to improvise because she is “genuinely responding to the moment.” She admits, “It’s a tightrope that I walk, I know!”

Remember back in olden days when a story would break and the chief at the local daily would yell, "Stop the presses!" Well, they've finally stopped. And in the future, most of our newspaper content will be delivered via digital tech. Here are the stories today that point the way:
Newspaper Circulation Lower Than You Think
Some of the information that supports the notion that newspaper readers are abandoning their paper-and-ink copies comes from the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), a body that keeps track of certain newspaper circulation numbers. Ironically, they're showing increases in circulation, but as a piece over at BusinessWeek has just highlighted, it's the result of new accounting procedures that could be masking a drop-off in newspaper sales that's worse than you might think.
In April the ABC changed its rules on how publications can count digital versus physical subscriptions--beforehand newspapers could only count each subscriber...
