Beautiful poetry
passionate_poet22 October 2001
A Porcelain Dream is pure poetry set to film. It emphasizes the true nature of love and its many challenges (love, sex, betrayal, forgiveness and death).

A Porcelain Dream is a story of a statue's dream to be human, and his dream comes true. The statue is of a woman wrapped within the man's limbs. Suddenly, they awake and breathe air for the first time. Then the story leads into love, lust, betrayal, forgiveness and then death. The statues that were once in each others' arms are now statues of a man and a woman reaching for each other, but due to their stolen breath within the arms of death, they are trapped in stone, never to breathe life and feel the love they once had.

Marshall E. Uzzle, writer, director, producer of A Porcelain Dream, is truly an artist. Although this is his first film, I can see the depths of a strong film maker/writer/producer. I also applaud him for casting T.J. Hoban as leading actor. T.J. Hoban has modeled in several health magazines like Men's Health, and also for International Male Mag. Anyways, this was T.J. first role in a film. Within T.J., I saw a budding actor with a lot of talent. Not only is he beautiful, he is an incredible actor.

I truly encourage people to buy this independent film. I found this film through many searches, and somehow, I found the writer/director/producer, Marshall E. Uzzle's e-mail address. >
