This is a great concert video from the 'Great White Hope Of The Blues' Stevie Ray Vaughan. The video footage is basically 2 concerts that Stevie did for 'Austin City Limits' programme in Texas. The first performance of 3 songs from the 1983 show are excellent! It starts brilliantly with 'Pride And Joy'. Stevie then playes the flabbergasting 'Texas Flood' with amazing showmanship (playing his Strat behind his back!!!) Then an equally superb performance of Hendrix's 'Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). The next performance on the same show from 1989 shows Stevie cleaned up and sober playing some amazing material from the then new release of 'In Step'. The songs in the order from the '89 concert are 'The House Is Rockin'', 'Tightrope', 'Leave My little Girl Alone', 'Cold Shot', 'Crossfire' and the 'Riviera Paradise' instrumental. It's superb! At the end of the concerts is a bonus video of 'Little Wing' - the Jimi Hendrix tune that Stevie covered which was previously unreleased and the video is fantastic as it shows a whole lot of rare SRV footage and countless blues greats including BB King, T-Bone Walker, Albert Collins, Hendrix, Big Bill Broonzy, Leadbelly and loads more! It's a fantastic video and I gave it a 9/10. Fantastic!
