The song "Hungama Ho Gaya",
Pyarelal of the Laxmikant - Pyarelal duo had once said that the bass guitar in this song was played by his brother Gorakh. However, the film's opening credits explicitly credited Charanjit Singh for the film's bass guitar. Additionally, Gorakh, who along with Shashikant, was usually credited as an assistant in Laxmikant - Pyarelal films of that time, was conspicuously absent from the credits of this film. The song was sampled from Jefferson Airplane's song "Somebody To Love". The title music of Haath Ki Safai also had a portion similar tune that was used in the song "Hungama Ho Gaya". Dharmatma's Cabaret Dance Music at 0:41 also had the same tune. Years later the song "Hungama Ho Gaya" was remixed and used in the film Queen.
