Growing up in the giant video arcade of Hershey Park one game game in
particular retains a special place in my arcaine pubescent memories. Ninja
warriors was a fantastic achievement of Japanese gaming. The story eludes me to this day,but the basic premis is you are one of two ninja robots sent out to destroy an evil empire of no-gooders. As you are attacked by other robots, tanks, helicopters, and, oh yes, guard dogs, you begin to
dismantel. As your ninja clothes are blown away it reveals the robotic working of your limbs, torso and head. The killer thing about this game was that there was 3 screens of horizontally scrolling action to totally submerse you in the action. Also, the soundtrack was killer - I found a japanese only release of it on cd and listen to it to this day.
