. . . A VIEW TO A KILL's Eiffel Tower base jumper (as a stand-in for Grace Jones' "May Day" assassin character) B.J. Worth says of his buddy Don Caltvedt, who nearly caused Eon Production Company's Paris filming permits to be pulled when Caltvedt and a third dare devil made an unauthorized double plunge off the 960-foot landmark the day AFTER Mr. Worth's officially permitted jump (which, of course, highlights the finished film, 14th in Eon's Agent 007 series). I guess you just can't have everyone and their brother jumping off the Eiffel Tower. INSIDE A VIEW TO A KILL concludes with a two-minute homage for Sir Roger Moore, who turned Bond over to Timothy Dalton after KILL (I don't think Timmy made enough Bonds to be knighted, either). The first minute of this tribute to Moore consists of testimonials from fellow cast members and crew, while the second minute is a montage of action scenes from Moore's seven Agent 007 flicks. When KILL was filming in San Francisco, Moore says that then city mayor Diane Feinstein told him that she preferred Moore to the first Eon Bond, Scotsman Sean Connery.
