Decent Egyptian potboiler

Warning: Spoilers
A young businessman is framed for murder in this well made Egyptian mystery-thriller starring a pre-international fame (and mustache free) Omar Sharif as the murder victim's out-for-revenge brother. Directed by Atef Salem, Mawad maa el-Maghool does a good job mimicking similar Hollywood films of the era, with its middle-class characters all adorned in western garb and equipped with the latest accoutrements of modern life. Rare Films and More's DVD is sourced from an excellent print bearing the title Encounter With the Unknown, though they market the film as Rendezvous With a Stranger.
