- Two female cars flash their pop up headlights at McQueen. He says "I like being me" and stares at them.
- McQueen's sponsor is Rusteze, a "medicated bumper ointment" that gets rid of rust. This is basically a car version of hemorrhoid cream. This is his reason for wanting a better sponsor.
- Two vehicles say a poem about winter. The poem ends in "All that salt and grime can rust your bolts and freeze your nuts." However, they are interrupted before they can say that last word.
- Ramone lifts his rear end in front of two minivans, who react in shock as they see his undercarriage.
- Lizzy puts a bumper sticker that says "Nice Butte" on a minivan's rear bumper.
- Mater jokingly says that Sally is his fiance but then says that she just likes him for his body.
Violence & Gore

- In a nightmare sequence, we see Chick Hicks get chopped up by Frank.
- In the opening race, Chick Hicks causes a huge pileup with the other racers in an attempt to stop Lightning from beating him. Lightning makes it through the wreck effortlessly, but a lot of the racers involved in the wreck are badly injured, with one of the cars being really crumpled up and leaking oil. Most of this is played for laughs though.
- While all characters are vehicles, they do some pretty raucous like hit each other, careening off walls, trees, cones, tires and crash.
- Lightning McQueen gets chased by a police car in one scene, but his engine/exhaust pipe backfires a lot and he thinks he's getting shot at, but he's not.
- In a dream, Lightning imagines himself as a jet fighter firing rockets at advancing War of the Worlds-like alien machines, which explode when hit by his weaponry, in his own movie, "Lightning Storm".

- McQueen says he's in "hillbilly hell".
- When Mcqueen says that doc hudson won Three Piston Cups, Mater says "He did what in his cup?", Mistaking "Piston Cup" to "Pissed in Cup".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- A car says that his brother is lit but still needs headlights, implying he uses drugs.
- Filmore the VW Bus is presumed to be on the drugs throughout the movie. He's this movies interpretation of a stereotypical hippy from the 60's and 70's.
- Sally asks Flo what she has at her store and she says "I have gas lots of gas". Mater and another car immediately begin laughing after this implying that Flo meant she sells weed at her store. More likely to be a reference to flatulence.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There is a very bittersweet musical number that shows how radiator springs used to be before the interstate was built.
- McQueen accidentally rips the road with a statue of the city's founder, and has to repair it as consequence by the fate of his arrogance.

Violence & Gore
- In the final race, Chick hit King to off the track, and then he hit the grass roll over. Mild.
- We see a framed photo of Doc after his life-threatening crash. The actual event is not shown, but the image we see of him in this state is heavy.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is a deleted scene that features tree branches and limbs growing out of the dead cars and the terrifying appearance of the vehicles without the headlights or grille.
- Chick hit King off the racetrack and roll over the grass to prevent Lighting McQueen to stop before he reach the finish line. Lighting McQueen help King to win the race.
- When the reporters and such find McQueen in radiate springs they surround him with battering questions with "faces" in the camera and lord of lashing lights as cameras are flashed this could be triggering to people with epilepsy
