Japan is weird, we can all agree on that. but for some people examples like "the grudge" or "ring" are enough to back up this fact. "garden without birds" surely is a much stronger argument, though.

it's hard to spoil this one, really. the plot, if there is such a thing, is rudimental and kept to a minimum. the impressive parts are the imagery and the soundtrack. the use of both b/w and coloured pictures help just a little to figure what exactly is going on. it's rather a cruel psychedelic experience than an actual movie we get offered here, but due to its runtime of 22 minutes, that's perfectly fine. in addition, you will see one or two scenes that surely will leave an impression.

Guinea Pig 8?

I actually have found this movie, and remembered the title of it quite a while now. I finally had my chance to watch it. I titled this review as Guinea Pig 8, because it is really similar to that franchise, and i didn't name it Guinea Pig 7, because Lucky Sky Diamond is considered as part 7.

Well, plot wise, this movie barely has any plot. Three ladies, and three guys having a drugs party, and then everyone snaps in their own ways. That's pretty much the plot.

Positives:

• The actress that plays the dominatrix, looks beautiful in the latex suit.

• The gore effects look alright for the most part. It's not anything ultra ultra gory, but it does it's job pretty well.

• The movie is only about 17 minutes so you're not waisting a lot of time.

• All of our characters are unique in their own ways.

• The artist having his vision of drawing all of those birds, look amazing.

• Some people say that this has a deep meaning, personally the only message i took from this is, do not take drugs. But that's just me.

Negatives:

• Barely any story.

• There isn't a lot of character depth put in these characters.

• You might get a bit bored like in the end.

• The movie is in black and white, i like colorized movies.

• The attractive latex Mistress does not survive. :(

Final score: I give this movie a 4 out of 10. It is unique to a degree, but really if you have seen the Guinea Pig films or Tumbling Doll of Flesh it's not anything ultra. I sort of enjoyed it.

Japanese anti drug campaign must be the most hard-core around the world. Just when you think it can't get wierder, another director surprises you. I must migrate to japan immediately.
