- A young girl deliberately cuts herself with a pair of scissors; the camera shows everything and it's extremely disturbing and graphic.

- An underage girl induces a drug on the streets of Hollywood and becomes extremely high as she hallucinates and can hardly stand. She is escorted around the premises by a drug dealer who is helping the girl find her best friend.
- An underage girl's mother's boyfriend is a recovering addict from drugs and alcohol. There is one scene where he is shown smoking a substance out of a crushed up beer can and eventually falls down in the family's bathroom. The underage girl is seen helping the man and the mother intervenes, ordering her to go back to bed and she slams the door.

- When Brooke pours out all of Tracy's items that were illegal, there is a brief shot of anal beads in the pile inferring that the young teenager has experienced with sexual activity.

- A girl's brother makes sexual remarks towards her, unbeknownst that it is his younger sibling.
- A girl taunts her mother by saying, "No bra, no panties" which implies that she has already lost her virginity.
Violence & Gore
- Two underage girls seduce their attractive neighbor, Luke, also known as, Lifeguard Boy. The underage girls attempt to seduce Luke and start taking off their clothes when all of a sudden the 20-something-year-old male becomes nervous and backs out of having sex with the two young girls. He then tries to tell them to get out of the house, which leads to them pushing each other and intense yelling, eventually ending the intense argument by calling him a pervert.
- A girl's self-harm scars are revealed to her mother.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The ending is very depressing.
- A mother becomes angry at her daughter and her friend for being late. When they come home the daughter becomes angry and attempts to hit her brother and they continue to forcefully push each other around until the mom and aunt hold them both back. The mom remains angry and rips the tile out of the floor. A few moments later the daughter screams when she finds her cousin sleeping in her bed with the dog.
