Week three of Strictly Come Dancing was movie night, ensuring an array of ridiculous costumes and routines. It also saw its fair share of drama (thanks to Len), and the highest score of the series so far!
Naturally, Twitter had a lot to say, and so Digital Spy rounded up the best reactions of the evening for your pleasure. Enjoy!
The opening number, being movie week, was naturally theatrical:

Although often lambasted for being too simple, some blockbuster series require hours of effort to get the correct chronology straight. With reboots the current favoured blockbuster production method in Hollywood, to see a franchise make it to more than three iterations without a complete do over is a rare occurrence. What’s even rarer is to see one make it that far without one director or another messing with the order of the series.
Prequels, late in the day sequels, heavily homaging reimaginings; they all mess with the order of a series, leaving us all perplexed as to where the latest entry is meant to fit. Sometimes you have resort to drawing complex maps on napkins, feeling more obsessive than Bruce Willis in Looper (no mean feat), only to give up and pray for a reboot.
Well fear not. Like on very current entry on this list we’re here to save the day.

At Slate, Grady Hendrix writes about how the switch from carbon arc light sources to longer lasting xenon bulbs and the arrival of platters changed the job of a projectionist, and how digital projection will likely end it once and for all. He talks to projectionist of 30 years Joe Rivierzo, who obviously has some great stories:
"Digital will eliminate us completely," Rivierzo says. "All you have to do is load it and play it, and a lot of this stuff can be done off-site. We have theaters now running with 35 percent of the house digital. Once they go over 51 percent running digital, and they run it that way for 90 consecutive days, they can eliminate the presence of a projectionist. Our only saving grace is they can't manufacture these digital machines fast enough."
"We had a guy call the other day looking for extra work because his daughter was diagnosed with M.

"Out of order?! You're out of order!" Casino Jack is the feature film version of the infamous Casino Jack and the United States of Money story (watch the trailer for that doc) that stars the always awesome Kevin Spacey as political lobbyist Jack Abramoff. I'm not sure how fictional this version is compared to the true story, but it looks great. I love the trailer, it's such a perfect introduction to this flick. Spacey has a spark to him that not many other actors have and I love seeing him in this role, even if it is a little over-the-top, but screw it. Plus, I personally love the film versions of stories like this more than documentaries. Watch below!
