A very strong opening episode.

Rodney Williams, an ordinary man living in suburbia vanishes, his wife isn't overly shocked or surprised by her husband's sudden disappearance.

The 1980's are do often portrayed as an age of elegance and sophistication, when you watch this you begin to see the transformation into the 1990's, visually it's very interesting.

I absolutely love this story, it's one of my favourites, it benefits from a shorter than usual running time, it's punchier and quicker paced.

Favourite scene, the bus shelter segment, could easily have been taken from a horror film, it looks great, very sinister.

Karen Westwood is very good as Mrs Williams, she goes from mild and vacant to hysterical very well, she's good.

We have the interesting side story of Jenny struggling with learning the sex of her unborn baby, it's not an issue I've thought of or contemplated for a long time, am sure it happens though.

It's very, very good, 9/10.

A bit thin on the ground and struggles to make 2 parts but a fair watch.
