- SpongeBob and Patrick enter a bar called the Thug Tug, where several serious looking characters are seen doing violent things like beating each other up.
- Hasselhof is accidentally stabbed, no blood and mainly used to be comedic.
- King Neptune shoots fire with his trident burning Mr. Krabs for a few seconds.
- People are punching each other
- Mr. Krabs chokes Patrick by wrapping his claws around his neck.
- When King Neptune gives 10 days for Spongebob to get the crown and bring it to him, Patrick places bets that he can make it through six days, which made Mr.Krabs break out a fight between them. Nothing is shown, and is mostly for comedy.
- Two fishes' lips get ripped off.
- There is a fight scene between Dennis and Spongebob while riding on David Hasselhoff. And a tiny knife is plunged into david hasselhoffs rear-end.
- Dennis comes to the bar and sees all the men standing outside. The men threaten to beat him up and Dennis punches one of them and sends him flying into the bar then it sinks into the ground (it is not said if he lived or not).
- There is a brief shot of an unmoving body in a bar.
- Dennis threatens to step on Spongebob and Patrick with a spiked boot.
- Dennis is stepped on by a giant boot.
- Spongebob points out that some dried up sea creatures they see are dead.
- The Cyclops is beaten up by many sea creatures that came back to life after water brought them back from being dehydrated.
- Hasselhof gets accidentally burned. This scene is very brief and used for comedy.
- Plankton is stepped on a couple of times. We hear a squishing sound. This is played for laughs.
- While in their car, Spongebob and Patrick get chased by a large fish with sharp teeth. They come to the edge of a trench and are able to jump out of the car before it goes over. The fish eats the car and gets snapped up by an enormous electric eel that's so huge, it takes several seconds for it to jump back down into the trench.

- Some mildly crude humor is heard here and there.
- SpongeBob calls Mr. Krabs "a great big jerk".
- Plankton calls SpongeBob "SpongeBoob".
- When Mr. Krabs whispers in SpongeBob's ear, he is heard saying "jackass" at one point.
- Three uses of ding a ling one by Plankton one by SpongeBob and one by a fish in the crowd. One of use of damn. One use of jackass.
- Frick is used in the song Goofy Goober Rock.
- One use of damn, one use of hot and three uses of jackass. Kid profanity takes place too.
- Some mild kid profanity: stupid, twit, fool etc.
- King Neptune says that "one damning piece of evidence" was left behind.

- There is one scene when SpongeBob and Patrick are seen in a bar at Goofy Goober, They are seen asking for more rounds of the Triple Goober Berry Sundae, and they are both seen drunk later. When they wake up the next morning, they are clearly hung-over.
- One scene takes place in a bar, and some fish are shown drunk and one fish is seen drinking beer and smoking a cigarette.
- SpongeBob and Patrick are shown "drunk" after eating lots of ice cream. This is played for laughs.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Plankton, when he enacts his evil plan Z, becomes more depraved and vicious than usual.
- The bar scene can be a little intense though it's plated for laughs.
- King Neptune threatens to kill Mr. Krabs for stealing his crown when it is revealed that Plankton stole it and framed him.
- Shell City can be scary.
- SpongeBob and Patrick are in a chase scene with a giant angler fish after them from an ice cream trap.
- The trench scene with the monsters can be frightening at first, but the monsters eventually become nice.
- SpongeBob gets drunk by ice cream and grows a beard in the morning at goofy goober's in one scene, this may gross out some viewers.
- Plankton takes over Bikini Bottom showing all the familiar characters as programmed slaves with the helmets.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- After Neptune thinks that Mr. Krabs stole his crown, he threatens to burn him. But when he gives SpongeBob a chance to get his crown back, he instead freezes Mr. Krabs for the time being. However, he unfreezes Mr. Krabs at the end of the movie.
- SpongeBob kids fans would be disturbed by the scenes in which Plankton has turned various characters into reprogrammed robots that celebrate him and build monuments to him and serve him. Characters such as: Squidward, Sandy Cheeks, Mrs. Puff, Larry,... are among those slaves. Those whose favorite characters are SpongeBob these listed will be disturbed by this.
- The whole scene where Patrick and Spongebob are held captive in Shell City, waking up in the fish bowl, and then being taken to a heat lamp with a sheet, drying out to be made into "smelly knickknacks" can be pretty frightening and emotional. However, they are revived after the tear of the Goofy Goobers causes an electrical shortage on electricity, activating the fire sprinklers above to completely bring them back to life.
