Pats on the back all round for this BAFTA tribute

Interesting interviews with all 5 of the past Bonds (Sean Connery via a video link), and lots of clips from the Bond movies.

Everyone else who ever starred in a Bond movie, appeared to be sitting watching in the audience.

Presented by Michael Parkinson (obviously a Bond fan), who did a faintly amusing role-play with John Cleese (who plays the character, Q, in the same way as he played Basil Fawlty).

For Bond fans only.

A missed opportunity

An ok documentary.I had looked forward to this for about two weeks since first spotting it in the tv guide.I was especially looking forward to Timothy Dalton, however I was to be disappointed. Instead of giving fairly in depth coverage to the individual James Bonds, the producers decided to interview all and sundry, and as a result each "interview" lasted only a few minutes. One feels if they left out all the usual clips and had shown Shirly Bassy the door then we could have been in for a treat. But,as a result,we were left with something that had been done a thousand times before. A missed opportunity!
