This is basically a long-form promo, lasting 15 minutes, of what was then the latest James Bond flick, the third one starring Pierce Brosnan-The World is Not Enough. He's interviewed along with co-stars Sophie Marceau, Robert Carlyle, Denise Richards, and, in an especially welcome presence, Desmond Llewelyn by Leanza Cornett who I was familiar with as the winner of Miss America in 1992 and as a resident of Jacksonville, FL, where I was living at the time. I was surprised to find out she passed away there back in 2020. Oh, and she also talked with director Michael Apted. Nothing profound but pleasant interviews all around. It was one of the extras on TWINE Blu-ray.

Warning: Spoilers
" . . . with what Bond's done before," laments THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH director Michael Apted here. This "Making of" is hosted by Leanza Cornett, most known for lasting one season on ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT (1994-95), and for commentating at AKC dog shows. Apparently, this is the only time Ms. Cornett had an opportunity to horn in on the Eon Production Company James Bond bandwagon. The circumstances of her appearance seem almost suspicious. After all, most Agent 007 DVD "extras" are "hosted" by folks with a more direct connection to the 23-movie (and counting) series. For instance, the "Exotic Locations" recaps are narrated by one-time "Bond Girls" Maud Adams and Samantha Bond. The "On Location" segments consist of "home movies" by production designers Ken Adam and Peter Lamont. Bond bit part player Patrick Macnee does the voice-over for many other "bonus" bits. Maybe Ms. Cornett had some key leverage on behalf of S.M.E.R.S.H. or S.P.E.C.T.R.E.?
