Superhit multistarrer of the 80s

Loha review :

Loha was a multistarrer action film of the 80s directed by Raj (Daddu) Sippy and produced by Salim Akhtar who announced this next ambitious venture Batwara at this film's Silver jubilee function.

Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha were the leads with Shashi Kapoors son Karan forming the trio who take on the dacoit Shera (Amrish Puri) who is on payroll of a local politician (Kader Khan). The pretty Madhavi and Mandakini played the conventional heroines. Master Jugal Hansraj also had a pivotal role.

While Amrish Puri was the main antagonist, Loha also had a bevy of villains all playing prisoners : Joginder, Goga Kapoor, Roopesh Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Mac Mohan, Sudhir, Bhushan Tiwari, Yunus Parvez and 18 more!! In one scene, the pretty Madhavi and Mandakini break in to a seductive number wearing teenie weenie shorts while in captivity of these Dirty 25.

The film was lavishly mounted with great looking sets and action pieces. Music wasn't that great though. Some scenes seemed to be influenced by Ramesh Sippy's Sholay. Infact, Loha also looked similar to Zalzala (1988) which released around the same time.

I had seen the movie on VHS at the time of its release and recently caught it again on Youtube in the covid lockdown period. A decent entertainer specially for the 80s audience.

Cheap fun

Loha looked like a decent film at first - although it had it's many flaws it still had it's share of enjoyment. The cast ensemble was the aging Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Mandakini, and Karan Kapoor.

The story basically had a very basic plot, involving gangsters, thieves, and cheap 1980's get-up wear. Karan Kapoor was very handsome, and was great eye candy - and it had some great songs such as 'Isaphir na Musaphir'. Jugal Hansraj is also a child actor in the film - and Kader Khan is very intimidating. This film was made in 1986, and still hasn't barely dated - all in all it was an okay film - not atrocious, but not brilliant either!

Fantastic movie want to watch not to miss

This movie is absolutely brilliant, with Dharmendra, Shatragun sinha, a New comer Karan Kapoor the son of Shashi Kapoor. All three of them acted very well their performance was overwhelming. This Movie had a mixture of everything that any audience would want. Action, A it of comedy. Kadar Khan Villainous role was absolutely astonishing. I would say this film you guys should not miss. Whats it About Its about Police officer Dharmendra, who is tough in law, and who ever thinks they are above the law Dharmendra brings them down, eventually one day Dharmendra caught the terrorist, the commissioner of police told Dharmendra to release those terrorist, Dharmendra had understood very well that commissioner loves his position but not his duty, that duty who he swore to maintain. Dharmendra has enough and decides to sack himself. Later on he is called by Raza Murad (Old Commisner). Raza Murad says to Dharmendra that some Shera's terrorists have Kidnapped all the passengers from the bus and one of then is his daughter. Dharmendra takes this assignment with the help of Shatrgun Sinha and karan kapoor, After releasing the prisoners, Shera escapes, but then with Kadar khan and shera they kidnap Shatgun sinha son, so that they can demand the release of 25 prisoners, those prisoners that there relegion is murder, those prisoners have no pain or no remorse. Dharmendra who is devoted to the law, will have to break the law, see how Dharmendra, shatrugn sinha, Karan kapoor, break the law and make 25 prisoners escape from jail, will they able to do it, can these prisoners co operate with the three guys, will they all survive, will Shatgun sinha keep to his promise to bring them all alive, 1 missing and his son is dead. see how they do it.

Best movie to watch if high 😋

This is one of the best movies to watch if u don't have anything interesting to do while u and ur gang is high...laugh at silly jokes...point out mistakes in the movie... sorry... point out movie in the mistakes...movie is engaging and u'll have a great time with ur friends... recommended only if you watch this while high 😂😂😂
