The first feature length science fiction film to be made in Switzerland.
Leading Swiss sci-fi designer H.R. Giger was given a private screening of the film. He was very impressed by the film's design and production values, especially on the tight budget.
Eight years in the making.
As Dr. Portmann leaves the examination room after tending to Decker's head wound, structural formulas of hexahydrocannabinol (or THC with one double bond missing) and, below this, amphetamine can be seen on a computer screen in the background.
At the beginning of the film, you can hear somebody playing a video game. However, the sound is actually taken from two different games, Super Mario Land (1989) and Tetris (1984), both for the original Nintendo Game Boy.
