- A women is held up in the air and her clothes are ripped off. Her breasts are briefly shown as her skin is also ripped off her body, killing her.

- We hear someone being tortured in another room. (This is from a hallucination)
- During one scene, a woman is grabbed by the chest and has her skin ripped off before the skin is thrown at other characters (the skinless body is seen briefly). Very graphic
- Slightly disturbing, mostly hokey.
- Film for all. Italy doesn't deny reality, neither should you.
- Horror violence, violent, especially during the climax. Some sequences (climax in-particular) contain particularly intense moments that will made the audience jump.
- A nude monster is seen burning, breasts/genitalia are not visible.
- Several masked men beat up a police officer with a metal pipe. Some blood is shown.
- A man is stabbed in the throat from behind. We do not see the stabbing because of the camera angle.
- A group of people walk into a room and it is implied that they see a man hanging, from the camera angle all that can be seen is the man's shoes.
- Two women are approached by a human-like form. Upon being shot, black blood spurts from it which is acidic and burns objects.
- A woman's eyes start bleeding. We only see this for 2-3 seconds at most.

- Silent Hill is a very creepy and unsettling film with scenes of sadistic violence. However, it is obviously unrealistic since the film is an adaption of a video game, where the violence is often exaggerated.

- More disturbing than sexual, the main antagonist has barbed wires enter her body through her privates and out of her mouth before she is ripped apart. Nothing is seen but the moment is quite disgusting.
- Nothing is seen but it is heavily implied that a child is taken advantage of in a school bathroom by the janitor in a flash back scene
Violence & Gore
- The main antagonist is ripped in half with barbed wire in a slightly disturbing way.
- A woman falls from a building and lands on barbed wire that goes through her stomach. This woman is an antagonist throughout.
- A woman is tied on a ladder and is brought over a big fire. We see her suffer from the intense heat, her skin starts to melt as she is slowly burning. Very tough to watch.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A female police officer is tied to a ladder and lowered to the fire. Her face blackens and bubbles up until the fire snakes around her chest and upwards to her face. She screams as she's burning to death. Not suitable for kids!
- A nine year old girl is chained to a seal and laid over a bed of hot coals while the congregation watches.
