- Fifteen years ago, an aggressive alien race invaded the solar system bent on the conquest and extermination of mankind. Led by the unseen Ma'hars, Grey aliens, using the accumulated knowledge from decades of abductions and probings, waged a brutal and savage war against the rebel forces of Earth. In the end, the Ma'hars ordered the Greys to reduce the Earth's surface into a radioactive wasteland in the hope of crushing the rebellion. Remnants of the human race used what they learned from the various alien technologies to take to the stars where the last of human soldiers carry out dangerous missions against the deadly Ma'har armada. Now, however, time is running out. Ma'hars raid have increase as the sinister aliens seek to locate the last pockets of humanity in order to put and end to the long war once and for all. A galactic marine infantry team, under the command of Sgt Sharp, is sent from their headquarters on Jupiter's moon IO deep into Ma'har territory of the Caprini Eri-C system. The Alliance had supposedly bombed the area. Their job was to do some recon to assess pockets of resistance. Once on the surface, they fight off bipedal robots, humans turned cyborgs, bugs full of green goo, zombies, and werewolves. They are also attacked by Scavengers, residents organized by a Sgt. Anton who was drummed out of the corps for bad behavior. They even encounter a three-headed dinosaur. After losing several team members, they call their pilot Fooks to pick them up. She is shot down but survives. Headquarters then has to send more troops to help extract them.—Garon Smith
