Sex & Nudity

  • A woman is seen upset. An adult can work out that she has probably been raped, a child might not realise, if they were watching, but certainly it is explained in the subtitles in the English subtitled version. A shower scene is seen but although "steamy" (from the water!) the only thing that is really seen is a brief image of a woman's breast. A man enacts a "pantomime dame" style striptease act as a joke and his fake breasts are seen and these are pressed to a man in the audience. There may have been more love type scenes.
  • (There is also a brief scene with a topless "dancer"/stripper midway through the film.)

Violence & Gore

Profanity

  • There are certainly many French terms in the original language version but in the English subtitles the term "mother-f-word" has appeared.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Smoking and alcohol are seen being used

Frightening & Intense Scenes

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • All the sentences here describe scenes but don't name characters or when the scenes happen so not entirely spoilers... A man is bundled into a van and taken to a remote wood, where he appears to be tied up, naked and shot and dumped in a ready dug hole. There have been other shootings and explosions - hold ups and gangster shootings. There is a car crash at one point, with a car rolling over. There is also a close range shooting of a main character which could be difficult to watch as you associate with the character. Two characters fall from a window and one does not move so we assume he is dead.
