It’s time for another Bingeworthy Breakdown, where we look at the hottest new TV shows and separate the wheat from the chaff. The biscuits from the grits. The chicken-fried steak from the regular steak. The crawfish pie from the file gumbo. If you’re wondering why my proverbs just went South, it’s because today we’re entering the weird and witty world of Amazon’s “One Mississippi.” This hard-hitter co-created by legendary comedian Tig Notaro and irreverent screenwriter Diablo Cody launched its second season just last week, which means it’s high time for an evaluation.

Leftover pie might seem like a Thanksgiving oxymoron, but it does happen.
And though we fully support your journey if you want to scarf it down cold the next morning and call it breakfast, there is another option: pie milkshakes. Just toss a slice in the blender with some ice cream and milk, whiz it up and call it a day. The little bits of buttery crust that run throughout will make for the most blissful milkshake experience of your life.
Below are 3 flavor combos we found to be our favorites, but feel free to play around with and pie...

Get your sweet tooth ready! Oh, and you should probably say sayonara to your beach body diet while you're at it. That's because the newest flavor of M&Ms sounds way too delectable to pass up. The candy brand is no stranger to conjuring up delicious concoctions, with past flavors like candy corn, coconut, pretzel and mint. (Or our personal favorite, the classically simple peanut butter). So we weren't surprised at all to hear the latest addition: Pecan pie. That's right, M&Ms are officially channeling Thanksgiving. "But isn't it a little early for Thanksgiving food?" you might be asking. "It's only August!" To which we say, pipe down! You can never...

Despite a recent onslaught of groan-inducing trailers for Dumb and Dumber To, expectations were high for rubber-faced funnyman (and In Living Color vet) Jim Carrey’s return to Studio 8H for a third crack at hosting Saturday Night Live.
Ultimately, despite an uninspired “Ebola Czar” cold open – Kenan Thompson’s mildly amusing Al Sharpton was a minor highlight in an otherwise forced, dull take on the current virus hysteria – the show’s best moments helped make Carrey’s return a fairly memorable one.
Here are my picks for best and worst sketches of the night:

"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," which opened 10 years ago this week (on March 19, 2004), was just your typical boy-meets-girl, boy-loses-girl, boy-has-painful-memories-of-girl-scrubbed-from-his-brain story. Of course, the movie was a lot more than that. It put director Michel Gondry on the map, offered Jim Carrey one of his most acclaimed dramatic roles, and became beloved among moviegoers who appreciated its poetic, funny, and sad take on romance.
"Eternal Sunshine" was a modest hit a decade ago; today, it's commonly regarded as one of the best films of the new millennium. Even so, though you may have seen it enough times for it to be permanently implanted in your memory, there are still things you may not know about the film, from its seemingly improvisational shooting process to how unbelievably primitive the special effects were, to how Carrey and Gondry nearly came to blows. Here, then, are 25 of the movie's secrets; come back...

Do you like pumpkin pie? Do you like pecan pie? How about both together? Paula Deen stopped by "Rachael Ray" a few years ago to share her Thanksgiving recipe for Pumpkin Pecan Pie and it sounds to die for.
Ingredients
3 eggs 1 cup dark corn syrup 1/2 cup sugar 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) melted butter 1 cup canned pumpkin 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup chopped pecans 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell Whipped cream
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Beat the eggs well with a hand mixer, then mix in the corn syrup, sugar, butter, pumpkin and vanilla extract until well-blended. Arrange a layer of pecans in the bottom of the shell. Slowly pour the mixture over them, then bake for one hour at 350 degrees Farenheit, or until a knife inserted one inch from the edge comes out clean. Let cool so the filling sets up and serve with whipped cream.
