With the finale volley against the Borg, Voyager has now fired 81 torpedoes out of an initial compliment of 38 that was stated to be irreplaceable.
Tom Paris taps a button next the the turbolift doors to open them. In almost all instances of turbolift use, the doors open automatically when someone approaches them, with no need to touch any controls.
In the cave Admiral Janeway beams into, there is an exchange in Klingonese between one of the Klingon warriors and Ensign Paris. Paris then translates the conversation for the admiral. Starfleet communicators function as universal translators. Janeway should have been able to understand the conversation with no need for an interpreter.
The doctor treating Tuvok at the Starfleet Medical facility is lacking rank pips on his uniform. All Starfleet personnel, both enlisted and commissioned, wear some sort of rank indicator on their uniform. While the doctor could be an enlisted man, rather than a commissioned officer, he would still wear a rank pin, similar to the one Chief O'Brien wore on Deep Space Nine. Were he a civilian doctor, he wouldn't be wearing a Starfleet uniform at all.
After Admiral Janeway's shuttle comes through the temporal rift, Tom Paris announces to the Voyager bridge crew that they're being hailed. Paris is the helmsman. It is not the duty of the helmsman to monitor communications. That is the job of the tactical officer or, on occasion, the operations officer.
At about 55 minutes Lt Torres refers to the term "inductive capacitance" but inductive refers to a coil (inductor) and capacitance refers to capacitors which are a different type of electronic component.
The doctor makes it back with the crew at the end, in fact he is at the party in the beginning which takes place ten years after Voyager's 23-year journey home; but. in Living Witness (1998) his program had been taken offline and turned back on 700 years later in the Delta Quadrant; however, the two doctors were different copies. The one on Living Witness was a backup copy (like a flash drive or DVD) and the one who made it back to the Alpha Quadrant was the original.
The size of Janeway's shuttle varies wildly between shots. It often appears much too large in comparison to the USS Rhode Island and Voyager. A shuttle at the size depicted would be several decks tall and not fit within the larger ships' shuttle bays.
The wig of the Janeway stand-in curls differently around the neck and ears than Kate Mulgrew's hair does in some of the scenes where Captain Janeway and Admiral Janeway converse.
When Seven is in her alcove during her regeneration cycle, after Captain Janeway states that after the majority of the modifications were made to Voyager she would reverse course and head towards the nebula, the Borg Queen states that she has extrapolated Voyagers' trajectory and she knows they are headed towards the nebula. The modifications were not complete yet so therefore the ship wouldn't have changed course yet when Seven was talking to the Borg Queen.
The perspective on the matte shot used for the exterior of the apartment complex where the reunion part was held is off.
In the future, the Doctor lacks rank pips on his uniform. While he never wore them throughout the series, that was because he was an emergency medical hologram. If he is given all the rights of a sentient being by the Federation and Starfleet (and he seemingly has, as he is treated as an individual and even marries), it would only be right that he be given an official Starfleet commission.
Admiral Janeway tells Captain Kim, "I remember a young ensign who wanted to fly into a Borg-infested nebula," referring to the events depicted in the "present" portions of this story. By that point, Kim had been an ensign for 7 years, and not very young to hold that rank. A point of contention among the fandom is how long Kim went without a promotion, given that numerous other members of the crew received them and ensign is an embarrassingly low rank for an officer to hold. In real world navies, an officer would be promoted up to lieutenant within two years of service.
Admiral Janeway is returning to the past in order to get Voyager home 16 years earlier. Part of her motivation is to save Seven from her death, which will also prevent Chakotay's death from heartache. Another factor is to get Tuvok back to Federation doctors to keep him from developing a debilitating mental decline. Presumedly, all of these were prevented due to her actions.
However, by arriving back home 16 years earlier, Icheb became a Starfleet officer who ultimately became a victims of Borg organ harvesters. Naomi very likely wouldn't meet her future husband, so her daughter Sabrina would never be born. There were no doubt other children who wouldn't be born on Voyager because their parents wouldn't conceive them. So it appears that Janeway traded her friends' lives for the lives of children. Not very typical behavior for a moral Starfleet officer.
