Il faut voir plus loin que le bout de son nez

Grrrr, IMDb only accepts English comments... The translation might not be fully adequate.

This film had a lasting impression on me. It must be seen for it's fine "cinematography" and it's subtle dialog. I only regret that money was not made available to allow Micheline Lanctôt the freedom to film in 35mm. The finesse of Daniel Villeneuve's pictures and the quality of Micheline Lanctôt's direction would have been fully captured.

Do not expect the classical American film signature with a series of hiatus culminating at the end with a rapid conclusion. The interest lies in the movies entirety an in my opinion, the end is only accessory because it's required. As some say, the Apocalypse is like turning off the TV! But be advised that my appreciation is not objective. Between a few glasses of scotch, a strong coffee and the talent of talented artists and artisans, it lies in the secret of the immediate moment.

For advised "auditories".
