- Some of the female character models in the game are wearing moderately revealing armor.

- Blood visibly spills out when characters sustain damage. Some weapons can 'gib' characters and blow them apart, with body parts flying everywhere in a gory fashion.
- Characters can be decapitated, dismembered, have their heads blow up or their entire bodies turning into bloody gibs.
- As a first person shooter, the objective of the game is to kill the other players with whatever weapons you have on hand, including rocket launchers, grenades, and miniguns. If one of the players is killed by a nearby explosion, their body may explode unrealistically (no pun intended) into several pieces, though this can be turned off.
Profanity

- The phrase "HOLY SHIT!" is used a lot throughout the game.
- As in other Unreal titles, the player and/or bots will shout out many taunts when killing someone, some of which contain profane words like "Shit", "Bitch", "Ass", "Whore", "Dick", and "Douchebag", although some of them come from 2003. The player can disable these mature taunts at any time in favour of more milder taunts.
