Jan-Michael Vincent Is My Muse (2002)
*** (out of 4)
Jim Tushinski directed this five-minute short film that's certainly very charming and worth watching. A thirteen-year-old boy is a fan of actor Jan-Michael Vincent and decides to write him a letter. He gets a reply back so he decides to tell the actor his idea for a new movie. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking about this short but I found it to be rather cute in its own way and I thought the director did a good job at showing this young kid being star-struck and inspired by getting a letter from his favorite actor. The use of animation and film clips was a nice combination and overall this was just a fun little movie.
