Hope Spyro makes a come-back, cuz this game sucked!

I hated it with a passion. Why this Spyro was done with a different company and in such a hurry is beyond me. I played it once and beat it in less than one day. I decided to try again to see if maybe the second time would seem better...it didn't. In in fact, I sold it back to a game-selling store for not very much...only 6 dollars, which is obvious to why it would be only that much, cuz the game is a piece of crap and any person who ever thinks of playing it, even if you're a huge Spyro fan like me, you've been warned.

I am hoping that after a while the Spyro series for the PS2 will get better, but until then if it ever does occur, the PS1 series was so much more fun than the new ones. The only improvement in the new ones is the graphics, but only with looks...the movement needed work and a lot of it!

**Avoid at all times**

Warning: Spoilers
10 minutes into this game, I felt my eyelids close a little, half an hour into this game i had passed out with a vulture pecking at my motionless body! This game is in no way enjoyable, i bought this because spyro was being promoted at McDonalds and instead of buying a £30 game and possibly being disappointed, i bought this platinum version for £15. but i might as well have thrown the money down the drain. the shop said that the product must be damaged or have a fault for refund or exchange, well i say that the whole game is a fault. it's not so much the graphics, it's what the game is based on or the storyline thats the matter and the game play. it is hard to control and it has no real mission to the game. I advise you to stay away from this game at all times!

Better than what others have said.

Warning: Spoilers
This game, (in my opinion) is very good. I think I know why everyone hates it now. It's because on the PS2 version, the game has MANY glitches, lock-ups, slow-loading rate, and blocky graphics. The GameCube however is the perfect choice for this, as there aren't many glitches, the graphics are smooth and clear, and the loading is fast. Anyways, the reason why I love this game is because mainly the adventure, the characters in this game are creative and cool, the levels are nicely planned-out, and so is basically everything else. The only thing in this game that makes me go BOO! Is that there's only one boss in this game. Surely the other Riptocs hat were with the main boss could've been bosses too right? Other than that, this game is a must-have.

Guaranteed worst spyro game.

In an attempt to follow in the footsteps of Insomniac games, the original creators of the Spyro games, Check Six Studios made Spyro 4 on a rushed timeline, and it shows. Aside from the generic lag which inundates the entire game, the game crashes easily in several different spots. I've never been very great at video games, but I was able to complete each of the Playstation Spyro games multiple times.

Enter the Dragonfly had me throw down my controller in disgust.

While the plot of the game is valid enough, the most crucial part of the spyro series' games, Insomniac Games' humor, was left behind. To be found in Ratchet and Clank.

Horrid game

As a lover of the spyro games. I have to protest heavily against this game.

When I started playing the game, I became increasingly frustrated. The game would lag because of all the spiffy new graphics that the PS2 just couldn't halde. So the game was choking, a lot. But the main-character in this game is not moving properly. He's slow and sluggish. And does not command well. Not nearly as agile as in the previous games.

The Previous Spyro games had excellent gameplay. I suggest that you don't waste any money on this game. This is the worst takeover baby in the history of gaming. Merely because of this game, I have refused to purchase the 5th Spyro game, "Hero's tail". If the standards of this games series have dropped so seriously. I recommend that you try before you buy.
