NEW YORK -- Sundance Channel announced Monday four programs and four films in development for next year, including a weekly talk show satirizing the media, a documentary on America's addictions and a feature-length documentary on singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen. The shows in development are: Culture Shock, which will focus on media criticism and be executive produced by Jeff Stilson (Da Ali G Show, The Daily Show); Addict Nation, an R.J. Cutler (American Candidate, The War Room)-produced documentary series that will follow five Americans who are living with addictions; The Whitest Kids U Know, a mockumentary about a New York-based improvisational comedy troupe; and Best Documentaries, a mockumentary that will be written and executive produced by Matt Besser of Upright Citizens Brigade.
