a great soap opera
smedina195020 January 2005
At first, I wasn't interested in this soap opera but after watching the extraordinary performances by Martha Picanes, as Amanda, and Isabel Moreno, as Cachita, I couldn't resist the temptation to watch it everyday. Martha Picanes didn't surprise me at all. She has been a well renowned actress for many years and her prestige is more than deserved. However, it's the first time I see Isabel Moreno and I'm quite impressed. She is superb, one of the best actresses I have ever seen. The rest of the cast is good and some of the lines are memorable. One of them is when Cachita (Isabel Moreno) says that life is learning and we learn to live without our dear ones who passed away, our youth that has disappeared, our friends, our strength. Well, I recommend this soap opera. You won't regret it.

The main character "Anita Guerrero" is the main reason for me to follow this TV series

The storyline is normal, they speak in language that I can't understand (I am a Malaysian Chinese that can only understand Mandarin, Malay, English, Cantonese, Hakka)and thus I have to read the subtitle to understand the story, I don't even know any of the actor/actress inside this TV series, but I still watch every episodes of this series just because of the Main Character "Anita Guerrero".She is not consider pretty, but she has a very very special and attractive personality; she is not rich or highly intelligent, but if this person exist in real life, many will like to become her friend. Beside this, her matching with "Luis Eduardo Contreras" in the series is really a perfect match that make it an special love story. And this is the first time I watch a Latin America movie.

Otra novela del monton

Warning: Spoilers
I must confess that I don't like Mexican soap operas anymore, since they all recycle the same plots over and over changing only the actors playing and remaking endlessly the same old novellas becoming boring and tired. Telemundo copied this trend, remaking novellas from other countries like Chile, Colombia, etc.

I am tired of all this, Televisa, TV Azteca, Univision and Telemundo together, are not worth to watch anymore. Anita, has become that: another soap opera more, where the main character start poor and humble and suddenly transforms herself and rich and beautiful and now wants not revenge, but punish everybody who has made her suffer in the past! Don't waste your time. I rather do gargles with the toilet's water.

Anita no te Rajes

Warning: Spoilers
I do not regret watching this novela at all. even though the story got somewhat dull towards the middle,(when Eduardo did not have any memory and Ana was dying in Mexico)I really enjoyed it. I like novelas that actually tell a story that ends when it is supposed to, and not like all those other novelas where they just start adding stuff to make the story longer. I appreciate the respect. Personally, I had never seen Ivonne Montero before, but I consider her a great actress. Same thing for this guy (Eduardo) sorry i just forgot his name, but he was really the reason I started watching this show, due to his performance in Betty La Fea, so far the best novela , ever. now that this novela is over, I kind of miss watching it. At the beginning, this story was fun and light, then It started to get deeper and darker, to the point that it just stressed me out, just thinking about how crazy Ariadna was. but I guess that's the point.
