Hilarious

A friend of mine who is a mascot at his University brought me to this movie in Toronto and it was awesome. I totally laughed my butt off when the mascot swallowed the guy. And the mascot school was hilarious. The drunk tree guys were also a highlight.

I punched the Jays mascot once and now I almost feel bad about it. You never think about the crap these guys go through.

My only problem with it was that I couldn't hear the subway rabbit guy that good when he was talking. It probably could have been a few minutes shorter too. Otherwise it was very cool. I don't know when it's going to be in the theaters but I'm going to totally check it out again.

eye-opening experience viewing the life and times of a mascot

This movie is an eye-opening experience viewing the life and times of various professional mascots. To be given the opportunity to be part of the process of "donning the mask" right through to discarding it at the end of the shift is an exhilarating and sometimes frightening experience. The content is well thought out and professionally displayed. The various sites visited keeps the interest going. The difficulty of the job we all think of as easy is well documented. The title is a wonderful play on the Behind The Mask movie - depicting much the same train of thought - revealing an unknown entity. The music keeps you pumped. The filming is very professional. The vast differences and yet similarities of the job of mascot is revealed.

Brilliant

In all my life I never laughed so hard as the night I seen this with two very good friends in Halifax at the Atlantic Film Fest. It was just a really good time, with an audience in really good spirits and all having a blast at a very funny documentary.

The only other time I came to as close to enjoying a documentary quite as much was the Parrots of Telegraph Hill which is a blend of good- natured humor and just a really interesting heart felt story.

There's a lot of good docs out there, but if you know nothing about this, and find some way to be lucky enough to see it full through, make sure you do with at least 2-3 other good friends and be prepared to have a good laugh!

To my knowledge this has yet to come out on DVD or Blu Ray, if it ever does I have to own this.
