This stop-motion horror short feels like something MTV would have shown during the early nineties. It has a similar vibe to the very first horror animations I discovered during those times, which both creeped me out and fascinated me, such as Mad Doctors Of Borneo and The Sandman.
The soundtrack reinforces that "90s" feel, while
the unpolished animation and the low resolution actually adds a lot to its creepiness factor.
It's a shame how Carny and Hydrant Monster, the other stop motion shorts by David Popolow are not even registered on the Internet Movie Database.
A shame he didn't make more of these shorts, because he showed a lot of visual creativity on them. I think he would have become a cult-classic animator like Lee Harcastle or Robert Morgan.
