Sex & Nudity

  • Sexual innuendo throughout, but never graphic at all. There are several moments where various women attempt to seduce Agent 47, but nothing explicit transpires. However, many scenes involve scantily clad women in strip-club and urban environments.

Violence & Gore

  • Certain assassinations involve setting people on fire. A charred corpse can be seen afterwards.
  • Certain weapons like knives and hedge trimmers can be stabbed through npc's throats causing blood to show.
  • The most violent Hitman game along with Absolution
  • Graphic violence is possible throughout, but how pervasive it is all depends on the player. There is always an option to go through killing as few people as possible, but at any time, the player can use a variety of weapons to brutally assault innocent people. These weapons include fiber wire, hammers, firearms, and knives, all producing bloody or otherwise graphic results. It should be noted, however, that no mutilation ever occurs onscreen.

Profanity

  • "Dickhead" is used in the beginning of the game.
  • Some sequences contain pervasive use of the F-word, but for the most part language is absent from the experience.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two drug labs are shown in two levels.
  • A man snorts cocaine.
  • One level takes place in an alcohol rehabilitation clinic. We see people smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol throughout, and occasionally using illegal drugs. The player is often given an option to drug various characters with syringes or pills.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • One of the darkest in the series
  • The game is very intense thematically, with some very violent themes and undertones throughout. It is an adult game.
